This highly accurate digital portable instrument is from a special lot that was private-branded for a US Government Defense Contractor by Thermo Electric. This instrument came from the "cream of the crop" as a select unit with better than average specification tolerances intended for government/military useage .
1. Measure temperature directly using a thermocouple or RTD.
2. Measure millivolt, milliamp and DC voltage signals directly.
3. Calibrate potentiometer type instruments.
4. Calibrate transmitters and a wide variety of process control instrumentation.
Ultramite is a multiple function instrument with built in reference junction compensation of thermocouple ranges. It includes the ability to to indicate and output the full useable range of NBS thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, and B. Additionally, 3 or 4 wire 100 ohm @ 0b degree C platinum RTD's to DIN Curve 43760 (Alpha 0.00385 ohms/ohm/degree C) can be indicated. Ultramite also contains the ability to input or output millivolts, milliamps and DC voltages. When working with temperature, resolution is 0.1 degree F/C.
