Kit includes 3 Sealed Glass scales, Display and Mounting Arm. Standard kit is equipped with 5um/0.0002" resolution scales, High Resolution 1um/0.00004" Scales are also available. Our EDM DRO System includes Digital cut depth control and Z-axis height alarm key feature in EDM operations. Standard Kit is supplied with 3 Scales with up too 20 inches travel each. Correctly sized scales will be sent for your specific EDM installation.
SMW Professional DRO Series are a Tough, Accurate and Easy To Use. System has Sealed Glass Scales that are designed to be operated in Dusty, Fluid Soaked and Swarf filled environments. This Shop proven System will increase your Quality and Productivity.
A Sealed Glass Scale does not become damaged from swarf scratches or buildup material in scale. Scales are double sealed with both an outer chip deflector and inter fluid proof seal. Seals are constructed of a special anti-aging; oil proof plastic. Creating a Scale protection system that is Dust, Fluid and Swarf resistant. Scale measurement system is incased in a rigid extruded aluminum channel exterior. Cable Shielding and TTL error checking allow superior resistance to signal interference.
Our Grid scales supply Superior Accuracy and repeatable accuracy. Each Scale is numbered and comes with a Certificate of Accuracy Compliance in meeting scale specifications (listed below).
