Got a bad display on your EX600/EX600-XLS, cracked display, dead pixels, dim display, no backlight?
Replace the display in a process that should take most individuals less then 10 minutes.
Basic Instructions - Remove knobs, antenna & battery, on bottom rear of radio use large flat head screwdriver carefully separate case from chassis. Display should be exposed CAREFULLY release ribbon cable from main board (attached by plastic holder) with the help of small jewelers flat screwdriver. Insert new display and attach new ribbon cable to main board, securely close plastic holder. Ensure ribbon cable is secured to board. Install case to chassis, securely snapping closed (ensure seal-ring is properly seated and in good condition). Replace knobs, antenna & battery.
