The history of Tektronix is shown through it's catalogs. Each year, new instruments appeared, and old ones were retired. The evolution of the products was chronicled in each years catalog. Many who received them held onto them for years, leafing through and admiring the passing technology.
I recently acquired a number of excellent condition, more recent catalogs. There is a lot of interest in more modern, solid state oscilloscopes. Scopes like the 400 series, and the endless variety of the 2000 series. Nowhere can one learn about these instruments like you can from the catalogs.
