New, old stock (NOS ICs) DIP, rarely advertised. CMOS 4504 is equivalent to CD4504 / CD4504B, MC14504 / MC14504B, HEF4504 / HEF4504B, HCF4504 / HCF4504B, SGS4504 / SGS4504B, TC4504 / TC4504B, and other 4504 CMOS equivalents.
Especially nice if you use circuits that require multiple voltage levels, for example, using a mix of TTL ICs and CMOS ICs, or CMOS ICs with a variety of other types of ICs, such as with older A/D converters, microcontrollers, memories, interface, etc. where 5-VDC is commonly required. I like to keep a tube or two of 4504 CMOS around just so if I find that the circuit I am designing is mixed voltage, I don't have to run around looking for 4504 ICs to shift logic voltages.
