Bt-40 pull stud, bt-40 retention knob socket
Retention knob sockets extend the life span of your retention knobs and tool holders. This device insures that each retention knob is tightened uniformly and to the exact tightness the manufacture's specifications require.
Open end or cresent wrenches can slip off the retention knob resulting in rounding off of corners, damage to the knob, or personal injury. The proper torque value in ft/lbs is laser marked on the outside of the socket for ease of visibility. All you need is a 1/2" drive Torque Wrench to start properly and safely installing your retention knobs.
* For use with any standard 1/2" Drive Torque Wrench
* Fits BT-40 knobs that measure 0.750 inches across the wrench flats
