This listing is for a brand new Brown & Sharpe Gear Type Hydraulic Pump Motor Model # MFG-3-10A3(updated) or MFG-3-10A1(previous). Brown & Sharpe gear type hydraulic motors convert liquid force into rotary motion. This motor is manufactured to the same close tolerances as Brown & Sharpe PFG pumps, with the additional feature of being bi-directional. Internal leakage is drained externally through a 1/8 NPT port to prevent pressure build-up at the shaft seal. Below is the performance characteristics of the MFG-3-10A3 model.
Materials: Sintered steel castings and hardened steel gears and shafts, aluminum cap and head
Bearings: Needle-type, anti-friction bearings
Fluid Viscosities: Hydraulic fluids of 100 ssu or higher that are compatible with the materials in the motor are suitable.
Drive: Direct coupling with precise alignment of the motor shaft and driven component shaft is preferred.
