Grade 0 Steel Wool 16 Hand pads
Steel wool is produced by the careful shaving of steel wire into strands resembling lambs wool. By varying the shaving process, the size or thickness of the individual strands can be varied. This allows for the separation of metal wool products by fiber thickness into categories called "grades". Grades of steel wool are similar to grit in sandpaper. The finest steel wool is grade 0000 or 4/0. The coarsest steel wool is grade #4. Refer to our extensive grade selection table to find the grade that suits your individual application.
Steel wool possesses several important properties that make them suitable for use in a wide range of different applications.
