John deere tractor steering manual 60 630 70 730 80 830

Here we have an original reprint of an original John Deere Waterloo Tractor Power Steering Service Manual #2050 that dates to the early 60's. so this manual would cover the tractors with power steering from the factory...not Behlen, Char-Lynn, or Vetter conversions...I believe this manual will cover some of the late 50-530 series, but I know for a fact that it covers the 60, 620, 630, 70, 720, 730, 80, 820, 830, and most likely the 840 Industrial giants too if you might have one of those....
This manual is broken down into 4 sections with focus given to the Row Crops, The Wheatland 80-830's, and the grove tractors which had some special gear...there is also a section on Powr-Trol which as you know drives the hydraulics and also the pressure for the power steering...There is also a great specs section in the back which provides you with a load of information on measurements, adjustments, and tolerances, so you can figure out what is wore out(yes, I said wore, as in "Plumb Wore Out...")... A good example of this is when your tractor is sitting there and decides to start turning left by itsself, or blowing fluid when you turn right, or maybe leaking like a sieve around the pedestal...
Now, this manual is designed for Dealers and service mechanics, so it won't show you bush riggers out there how to drill a hole thru a wollered out valve actuating sleeve and pin the steering shaft in there, but it will show you lots of pictures of the different assemblies along with numerical parts breakdowns linked to the diagrams...That way if you were of a mind to ask someone how to go about the above "bush rigging" type procedure, you would be knowledgeable to the basic workings of the system, and kind of know what you are talking about...I keep a copy of this manual with me when I go to shows just in case somebody has some issues...
This reprint is a must for collectors, restorers, or just farmers still trying to use these great old Green!machines.... The manual is covered in heavy card stock to last for years in your shop or collection, and it is 3-hole punched to fit your tractor binder...
