NIB ALCO Type FA5 Suction Pressure Regulators (Hold Back Valves) We have 14 of these available.
These are extra units from a large cold storage facility in Los Angeles. Typically these valves are used to protect compressors from high suction pressures during start-up. Or to hold back pressure in evaporators to facilitate defrost.
They are electically operated using a 208-240V/1/60 coil.
They have an adjustable pressure setting of 0-80 psi.
Port size is 1-1/4", and is typically used on line sizes of 1-1/4 to 1-5/8" ODF.
They are compatible with all types of refrigerants, including ammonia.
