Vintage Heathkit TC-2 Tube Tester Checker Working!
Nice vintage Heathkit TC-2 emissions type tube tester. Also included is a partial copy of the original manual and a copy of supplemental tube data.
Some typical minor cosmetic wear like scratches, scuffs, etc. Some spotting on the face, looks like water spots, may come off with some detailing. Good, clean condition. I have done a few things to this unit. I cleaned the controls/switches, replaced several rubber grommets, replaced the capacitor, adjusted the meter circuit, cleaned sockets, wiped down faceplate and cabinet. Line adjust is working. Good filament voltages.Tested several known good, bad and shorted tubes and this tester is working fine.
Has tube sockets for most tubes except compactrons. Will test old radio tubes as well as octal, 9 pin and 7 pin mini tubes for your audio or guitar amps. Nice tester! If you have questions about specific tube data, please ask.
