1) Input the preset code (the original set by manufacturer is on instruction)
2) Press "*" or "#". The green light will illuminate which will mean the safe is able to be opened.
3) Turn the safe knob to the open position within 5 seconds of the green light illuminating
4) With each press of a number, the amber light will flash and beep, indicating the safe confirms this entry. If the beeping and flashing doesn't stop when * or # is pressed, this indicates the wrong code has been entered. If the wrong code is entered 3 times, the safe will not accept any entry within 20 seconds. If the wrong code is entered another 3 times, the next entry can only be made after 5 minutes.
* To Reset and change the User Code
1) When the safe door is open, locate the red button on the inside of the hinged edge of the door. Press the red button. The amber light will illuminate. Enter your desired user code within 30 seconds (1-8 digits), then press "*" or "#" to finish and store.
2) If the amber light does not stop flashing/beeping, the safe has not accepted your code. Please repeat the process.
1) If both the red and green lights are on, this indicates that the batteries needs to be replaced. The battery box can be found on the doorplate inside the safe. The safe requires 4 x AA batteries
2) After changing the batteries, follow the code entry process with the DOOR OPEN to make sure the battery is properly installed in the battery box.
