Forney high qulaity welding rod. AC 7018 low hydrogen. Most 7018 low hydrogen electrodes are very difficult to use on many of the older 180 and 225 AMP welders. This 7018 AC low hydrogen gives you the same results, but is very easy to run on AC welders. It can be used in all positions on AC or DC reverse polarity welding current. This electrode is hardenable steels where no pre-heat is used and on cold rolled steels normally exhiting excessive porosity when welded with conventional electrodes. The low hydrogen content of the weld metal provides high strength and toughness. The use of this electrode will eliminate cracking down the center of the bead, under bead cracking and peeled welds.3/32", 1 lb, 55-90 AMPS, 7018. CAT# 30680
