We have developed a rod that makes it so easy to weld POT METAL with any kind of torch, that even an amateur can look good even on the very first try.
We have developed a rod that makes it easy for even the first timer to be a success.
A propane torch puts out 2600 degrees farenheit. POT METAL melts at a very low temperature. .
A propane torch puts out 3 or 4 times the heat it takes to weld POT METAL.
So, we have never had a problem with having enough heat.
We used to have a rod problem. Now we have solved the rod problem.
NO FLUX NEEDED. NO SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
All of our rod is approximately 1/8" X 18". We do not cut any of our rod down to short 9" lengths.
Just clean your POT METAL down to bare metal. Use a file, grinder, sand paper, sandblast or brush it off. You do not need to use a special stainless steel brush to use our rod.
Just do not use any chemicals.

The pictures are showing 1 pack of rod in a bulk box of rod. The box of rod has 1200 rod in it.
One picture is showing two electrical conduit fittings welded together. This is some of the cheapest potmetal made, but they are welded together. They are now one piece of metal.
One picture is showing a jeep hinge that is made of pot metal.
The jeep hinge had been broken completely into two pieces when the wind blew the door back.
The hinge was welded with my SPECIAL ALLOY ROD. The hinge is now one piece of metal again.
Three of the below pictures are showing a broken potmetal tripod. I welded the potmetal head back on and the tripod is stronger than when it was new.
You can weld potmetal just as well as I can, but it needs to be with my special alloy rod to be successful.
