The Weld-Pak 175 HD from Lincoln Electric lets you take command of those projects that require some extra muscle. With its attention-getting 175 amps of output, this 208/230-volt wire feeder welder is powerful enough to weld mild steel up to 3/16" thick with gas-shielded MIG wire and 5/16" with .035" Innershield NR-211-MP self-shielded flux-cored wire. Best of all, the Weld-Pak 175 HD is essentially ready to plug in and use – just add a supply of shielding gas for MIG welding on mild steel. If you want to weld with .035" self-shielded flux-cored wire on mild steel, say no more – everything you need is in the box!
• Comes complete with everything needed to weld mild steel using .035" self-shielded flux-cored wire including a spool of Innershield NR-211-MP and contact tips. Install K549-2 .045" Innershield Welding Kit to weld with .045" self-shielded flux-cored wire.
• Welds mild steel up to 1/2" thick with .045" Innershield NR-212 self-shielded flux-cored wire (sold separately).
• Just add a cylinder of appropriate shielding gas to MIG weld mild steel. The Weld-Pak 175 HD package includes a spool of SuperArc L-56 mild steel MIG wire, gas-shielded nozzle, adjustable gas regulator, gas hose and built-in gas solenoid valve.
• Also used for welding with .023-.035" stainless steel solid MIG wire (sold separately). Recommend installing the K664-2 Aluminum Welding Kit to expand the Weld-Pak 175 HD’s welding capabilities to include .035" aluminum solid MIG wire.
• Operates on 208V or 230V single phase power.
• Gun trigger safety feature keeps welding wire electrically “cold†until trigger is pressed.
• Welding procedure chart for mild steel is conveniently located inside the wire feed section door making voltage and wire feed selection a snap!
• Compact, portable, lightweight and easy to use.
• Fan-cooled for long life expectancy.
