Here we have 25 Eutectic silver/hard solder rods for use in bodywork repairs and for soldering on cable trunnions. This is a high quality product (42% silver) and is a 'must have' if you want to make up or alter cables for use on different types or makes of vintage scooters. This type of hard solder can also be used for bodywork repairs such as filling small holes and repairing splits in the metal as it has a low melting point compared to welding (600-630C) and causes less distortion to the metal. The rods come in a hard posting tube and are sent 2nd class recorded unless otherwise requested - any questions please feel free!
