South bend 13" lathe w/ cam lock +taper attach+hard bed

South Bend 13" lathe model CL8145B Serial # 15785T (This would make the estimated mfg date aprox 77-78 based on serial numbers of others found online. There is a good list of serial numbers/dates here: http:// /serial_number.html)
I have included 31 photos, please check them all out.
* 5ft flame hardened bed in excellent shape with minimal wear(south bend lists lathes by bed length not between center length, 5ft is the end to end length including under the headstock)
* 5C collet Rack with drawbar hook. ( unfourtantly i dont have the drawbar setup for it)
* Morse taper 3 Live center for tailstock
* Morse taper 3 Jacobs Super Ball 14N drill chuck for tailstock (no key)
* Cushman 3jaw chuck with key (same key will work on the camlock as well)
* Baldor 2HP 3Phase 200v motor (runs fine on 220/230v 3phase)
* 4 speeds + Back gear for 8 total speeds.
* Lever style clutch for power long and cross feed
* Bxa size quick change tool post with 1 BXA2 Aloris holder. Post is no-name as far as i can tell.
* Large dials on compound and cross slide. Compound reads to 200, cross slide to 250.
* There is a flip up chuck guard laying on the floor under it, You can have that if you want. I took it off because it was really ugly and was missing a mounting screw making it wobbly.
* Flame Hardened bed is in excellent condition with minimal wear. A few minor dings
* All gears are in nice condition with no missing/broken teeth.
* All functions/operations tested and work as they should
* This was in a school machine shop, not used in production. As you can see the compound was run into the chuck a few times and has caused some cosmetic damage. Every lathe at the school was like that. Last year i had 10 heavy 10s from another school, also all like that. This is the worst condition issue on this machine. You could grind/fill/paint to improve appearence if you wanted.
* A few small parts have been lost/stolen: Tailstock is missing the little spinner handle, Tool post missing the knob on the handle, Motor front door is missing the latchbut knob is there,Carriage lock is missing but bolt is there.
* Some dings in the end of the tailstock ram, does not effect movement or operation.
* Typical lash in cross slide nut/screw.
Many of these small parts you can easily make with the lathe even.
* Business/Personal Checks - 10 day hold.
* If you are exempt you will need to send me a properly filled out MA exemption form
* If there is a problem, please contact me 1st and give me a chance to correct it
* I fill out any custom forms honestly and will not devalue the price.
* Remember you will be responsible for all Tax, Duty, Import and Brokerage fees.
* All photos are taken of the actual items. Never stock photos from elsewhere.
