THIS IS URETHANE HOSE, WHICH IS BETTER THEN PVC. THIS HOSE IS BLUE BUT IS TRANSLUCENT, WHICH MEANS YOU CAN SEE THE MATERIAL MOVING THROUGH THE HOSE.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN URETHANE AND PVC ????????
URETHANE IS A BETTER HOSE AND SHOULD LAST TWICE AS LONG IF NOT LONGER THEN PVC HOSES.
HOW DO I TELL IF MY OLD HOSE IS URETHANE ????
LOCATE A MEDIUM POINT PEN. TRY TO PIERCE YOUR EXISTING HOSE WITH THIS PEN. IF THE PEN GOES THROUGH THE HOSE WITH ABOUT A 50 TO 75% EFFORT ON YOUR BEHALF YOU HAVE A PVC HOSE.
IF YOU HAVE A URETHANE HOSE MOST LIKELY THE PEN WILL NOT PIERCE THE HOSE UNLESS YOU USE " GORILA STRENGTH."
AFTER YOU ATTEMPT TO PIERCE THE HOLE YOU WILL SEE A PIMPLE ON THE HOSE.
