1/4" Male flare with Schrader valve x 5/15" also known as 1/2"-20 UNF Female.
THIS ADAPTER IS USED ON THE NEW **R410A MINI-SPLIT A/C SYSTEMS THAT HAVE THE LARGER UNIQUE FITTING ON THE SERVICE VALVE, The description of that fitting is 5/16" also known as 1/2" ACME Male-20UN.
This adapter will screw onto the 5/16" also known as 1/2" ACME MALE-20 UN fitting and allow you to connect a standard 1/4 service hose to it.
The female side of the brass adapter has a schrader valve depressor so it will push in or depress the exsisting schrader valve and the male side has a schrader valve.
THIS FITTING IS A MUST IF YOU WORK ON THE NEW R410A MINI-SPLIT A/C SYSTEMS!!
