This is a new, in its original box, Starrett #257C 12" Surface Gage.
The #257C is Starrett's finest full-size surface gage. The stable steel base is fully hardened, ground and nicely finished. There are four gage pins, frictionally held, that add versatility for referencing the tool.
The Base Measures 3 1/2" long, and 3 3/16 wide.
