Schott-hoya color glass filter assortment - 30 pcs.
Here is an assortment of 30 color glass filters for research and various spectroscopy work, or whatever you want to do with them !!! They are all 1/2" diameter with beveled edges to prevent/reduce edge chipping. They are typically Schott glasses, but I reserve the right to substitute equivalent glasses made by either Hoya or Corning. You will get 30 pieces in total, all different with the exception of 2-4 neutral density filters, which are the inconel thin film type and not Schott NG series glass. Shown in this picture, and typical representative of an assortment, are the following Schott glass type, in the order shown from left to right:
Top Row: UG-5, UG-11, GG-10, VG-9, BG-3, BG-12, BG18, BG-25, BG-37, BG-38
MIddle Row: GG-400, GG-435, GG-455, GG- 495, OG-515, OG-530, OG-550, OG-570. OG-590, RG-610
Bottom Row: RG-630, RG-645, RG-665, RG-695, RG-715, RG-830, RG-850, N.D. (Neutral Density) x 3
Thus, you get a nice series of longpass filters throughout the visible spectrum as well as into the near infrared (IR), as well as several bandpass type filters in the blue and green, and a couple of UV bandpass filters (these are very expensive glasses). Please also note that the UV glasses are subject to surface oxidation and will likely need polishing to restore the surface finish. They will retain the spectral characteristics, albeit with reduced throughput due to increased scatter. You can easily clean them up with a fine polishing paste. I will guarantee you will not get any duplicates of the color glasses, but I can't guarantee every set will have identical make-up.
