New 7" x 2" npt plastic filter head adapter (wvo-svo)
For sale is a new plastic filter head adapter. It is 7" in diameter with a 2" female NPT fitting. This is for use with an industry standard size 1 (7"X16") or size 2 (7"X32") filter bag with a steel ring. (See pictures. Two are in first picture to show how bags hang from adapter. Second picture shows how they can be fitted to common PVC pipe. This listing is for one adapter only with no bag, fittings, or pipe included.) These adapters are not compatable with bags that have a plastic ring or no ring at all. Can be threaded onto a 2" pipe & allowed to free hang over a container & allow gravity to feed product through the bag. Great for aquaculture applications or recycling waste vegetable oil to make biodiesel! Probably should not be used with temperatures much over 150 degrees F as they are made of polypropylene plastic and might soften with excessive temperature (180 degrees F or more) for an extended period of time.
