If you own a Hickok 539C tester this upgrade service will provide a good improvement in performance and accuracy!
This Upgrade Service includes a refurbishing service and the addition of digital meters except for the Gm meter.
If you are looking to improve your tester to a higher level of test performance, and increased reliability,
with a higher degree of accuracy and test repeatability than the this upgrade and modernization is just what you need!
What This Service Upgrade will add:
1. A Digital AC line set meter (+/- 0.5% accuracy) will replace the original analog (+/-2.0%) lower accuracy meter.
2. A Digital bias voltage meter (+/- 0.5% accuracy) will replace the original analog (+/-2.0%) lower accuracy meter.
3. A Digital DC plate current meter (+/- 0.5% accuracy) will be installed.
4. The AC cord will now be detachable and the plugin socket will have a built in RFI line filter.
5. The chassis will be cleaned and all switches will be cleaned with special de-greasers, cleaners and lubricants
used by NASA and the Military for electrical contact reliability and protection.
Your tester will be refurbished, many new capacitors and resistors will be replaced and all others will be tester for
correct tolerance values. The tester will be cleaned and re-calibrated.
I will provide a one year limited warranty which includes calibration!
Summary of equipment upgrades:
- Digital AC line set meter - for greater test measurement accuracy,
- Digital bias meter - for greater accuracy in bias setting, and monitoring during testing,
- Digital plate current meter - for monitoring plate current and to matching power tubes accurately,
- Three prong “Grounded†AC cord and jack with RFI filter installed.
I am providing a full one year limited warranty covering all parts installed,
all work performed, all capacitors, resistors, Digital meters, and calibration!
Should any problem occur, at my option I will repair, or replace any defective component covered under this warranty as may be required to return the tester to its proper operating condition.
This warranty is the only remedy that I will provide.
