This lot is a complete 'SCL' double stage lateral channel blower / exhauster setup from Vaculex, with an FPZ pump and Siemens motor. This unit was a "used spare" part for a vacu-hoist box lifting setup. Cosmetic condition is Good with only a few minor blemishes from being in a stock room for a couple of years. The worst part is the motor, which has some scuffs in the paint on the housing. The shaft of the motor spins smoothly by hand, even with the belt driven pump hooked up.
When we connected it to our mains, the motor started easily and accelerated quickly. Without a vacuum lifter hooked up (no pressure differential across the pump) the air was screaming through the pump like a jet engine. The exhaust was a very strong, steady stream. The pump housing on this lot has no dataplate. We got several of these from the same place and they are all configured alike, so we feel very confident that this is an FPZ Tipo SCL 40 DH. The motor is a 230/460VAC 3phase 6.5kW unit, much more than required just to turn the impeller, and it sounded very strong.
