4 page catalog / brochure removed from 1983 catalog shows CARBORUNDUM's FIBERFRAX insulation product as a fire-retardant material, "offer superb flame and heat resisting properties" claiming it to be "asbestos - free". Durablanket,Duraboard & Fibersil cloth were the products. Claims "Fiberfrax ceramic fiber offers many advantages over other fire-retardeant materials such as mineral wool & asbestos" and gives a comparison chart. Last page shows a list of approvals given to their materials by such as US Coast Guard, Lloyds KNV, US NAVY, US Air Force, British Government, etc and their uses for it.
