NON-VOLATILE SRAM IC, NOS DIP ICNew old stock DIP (NOS IC). The bq 4010YMA SRAM is backed by a built-in lithium battery, so it is about twice as thick as a normal 28-pin SRAM IC. The real beauty of this Benchmarq SRAM is its battery-backup so your program in programmable electronics can survive a power loss because it automatically kicks in as a source of uninterruptible power to the SRAM. With it, you do not need to constantly bootload your test code into your equipment from an external source - highly aggravating to you and a great waste of your valuable time. This makes this non-volatile SRAM especially nice for robotics and remote control applications, and for field uses. It also allows you to turn off your programmable equipment to make circuit corrections and tuning adjustments without having to reload the memory. I bought a new tube full of these a few months ago. I have not used them or tested them, so I don't know and cannot guarantee battery condition. If I am overpriced, prove to me a cheaper price is commonly available and I will seriously consider lowering my price as I try to be fair. Sale is for one IC. LIMITED QUANTITY!
