NEW American Beauty 10517 American Beauty Thermal Wire Stripper Handpiece, Tweezer Style
With resistance thermal wire stripping, resistance to an electric current causes looped elements to heat-up and melt through insulation. This resistance-type system consists of several components. Power unit Model 105A3 features infinitely variable, stepless dialing from 0 to 100W - ideal where precise settings and repeatability are essential. Its ventilated steel case measures 3-3/4& x 3-7/8& x 5-1/4", and comes with pilot light, fuse, and 3-wire power cord. Footswitch Model 10519 plugs into power unit to provide for more accurate timing of wire stripping operations. It prevents premature handpiece failure from extended duty cycles, and eliminates sparking on contact and removal of electrodes from work. Tweezer-style handpiece Model 10517 is used for "squeeze-and-pull" stripping of thermoplastic insulation from wires up to 18 gauge. It allows faster stripping of "tough" insulations such as Teflon and other PTFE-based materials. Strips lengths 1/8" to 1-1/2". Measures 4-1/2" long, weighs 4 oz., and comes with a pair of heating elements (P/N 10545) and 4-foot cord that plugs into power unit. V-notch handpiece Model 10591 has a single-loop element that strips thermoplastics, including Teflon, from wires up to 12 gauge. Measures 5& long, weighs 3 oz., and comes with heating element (P/N 10593) and 4-foot cord that plugs into power unit. Components must be purchased individually.
Standard retail price is $147.00. Your price for this new, never-used American Beauty Thermal Wire Stripper Handpiece, Tweezer Style in its original, unopened packaging is just $140.00!
