Case not re-painted, bottom rubber feet replaced if needed (some units did not use rubber feet) .Rear rubber feet (if equipped) not replaced. These RF Signal generators were produced from the early 50's onward until probably the mid 60's. They are quite stable after warm up, and are perfect for LF receiver trouble shooting, alignment and repair. They would also be quite at home in a lab, a teaching environment or in the ham shack.
These are ex-military units and are designed for long life, rugged service and easy field repair. The URM family of RF Signal generators was a mainstay for military technicians for over 25 years, are still used today and saw service with the US Navy, Marines and even some versions found their way into USAF inventory.
