â– This unit has a large 50+ gallon fuel tank. This size provides a much longer run time on the generator as it is 5 times the size of older units.
■Includes new technology powder coated rust preventive sealer – to keep the paint new for years. Gauges are water sealed behind a glass door. This is a major improvement over older units available on the market today.
â– The engine is manufactured at (SNH/CNH)* These liquid-cooled engines have Direct Injection with swirl combustion chambers, and have both an iron block and head, making them a very solid and robust engine.
â– DUAL combination fuel filter / water separators provide clean fuel to the injection pump.
â– A manual emergency fuel primer pump is very handy, and if you've ever experienced vapor lock on an engine without one, it's dream come true.
â– A full compliment of gauges are in place for monitoring voltage, amperage, and frequency of the electrical output, as well as oil pressure, coolant temp, hour meter, etc., for the engine. Trickle Chargers are installed on every unit SO THAT UNIT IS NOT DEAD WHEN ITS NEED MOST TO START.
â– This unit features key operated electric starting, automotive type alternator for keeping the starter battery charged. (Please note that battery is included.)
â– A 50 gallon internal fuel tank is standard on these newer generators.
â– Larger external125 or 250 gallon tanks can be special ordered.
â– There is a safety system that will shut down the engine in case of irregular temperature, oil pressure, or over speed clocking.
â– The Generator Head has all copper windings, and is a BRUSHLESS Stamford type design alternator.
â– An A.V.R. (Automatic Voltage Regulation) system provides relatively clean and stable power for most types of sensitive equipment.(Although most manufacturers still recommend using a good surge protector on sensitive equipment whenever powering them from any back-up power system)
The operating speed of this genset is only 1800 rpm, compared to 3600 rpm for many other models on the market; thus providing fuel economy, lower noise level and less wear.
The motor-generator set is mounted inside a RUST FREE PAINTED steel structure with stainless steel fastners . The entire unit is pretreated with zinc phosphate and a polyester powder coating process before the painting . The controls and gauges are covered by a water sealed tight glass lockable door to keep contaminants and water out and to increase longevity. The Facts about why diesel-power instead of gasoline?
1. The fuel-efficiency alone is a good reason for a diesel, plus off-road diesel fuel. Unlike gas engines, diesels have no spark plugs to replace or carburetors to rebuild and service. Diesels generally burn less than half the fuel that gas engines do to accomplish the same amount of work.
2. It is cheaper than gasoline.
3. Diesel is much safer to store. It's not explosive like gasoline.
4. Although a diesel sometimes produce more visible exhaust, it is less toxic than the emissions from a gasoline engine.
5. A well-tuned diesel, by the way produces no visible exhaust except briefly, and only under severe load-changes.
6. Diesels regularly outlast gas engines.
7. Diesels are simpler in design and construction than gas engines.
8. If you can service a gas engine, you can service a diesel! And, it requires less service.
