A superior tool in quality and design, the Fowler No. 52-245 series as an exceptionally sensitive "go/no-go" gage and as a limited run Indicating Micrometer.
Frame is hammertone gray baked enamel and satin chrome.
Wider, micro-fine graduations on sation chrome finish for easy reading.
Anvil withdraws .08" to insert or remove the piece being measured.
All parts subject to wear are fully hardened for a long life of reliability.
Retracting button is convenient to the operator's hand, uniform pressure is exerted at all times.
After setting micrometer, the spindle can be locked & tolerance hands set as desired.
A wrench is included for quick and easy zero adjustment on the sleeve.
Movement is mounted independently from case on a rigid supporting plate, ensuring perfect and permanent alignment.
Graduation of head: .001" ; graduation of indicator: .0001"
Meets or exceeds Federal accuracy specs.
This has only been used a couple of times. Its in perfect condition.
