Code requirements established in some localities specify that there be a certain distance between the intake of the supply fan and the exhaust fan outlet.
The AFSI is designed to meet such requirements.
Built in a heavy gauge galvanized steel housing, the intake offers ample area for filtering the incoming air.
Superior Housing Construction Features:
Designed for efficient air flow and maximum resistance to weather.
AFSN housing has a heavy gauge galvanized steel body with 4-sided galvanized steel hood and removable top.
AFSL housing is constructed of galvanized steel.
The extruded aluminum hood is mitered and welded at the corners.
AFSI housing and inlet duct are made of heavy gauge galvanized steel.
Hoods held in place with quick release clips.
Insulated cover prevents condensation.
Pre-punched mounting holes reduce installation
Open dripproof motors with sealed ball bearings are designed for maximum continuous operation.
Pivoting plate motor mount simplifies belt adjustments.
Belts are static conducting, oil and heat resistant.
Motor pulley is adjustable for final system balancing.
AFSI shall be in a square housing 23.38 x 23.38 with a side inlet to meet local code requirements of spacing between exhaust fan and supply inlet.
